Facilitation:

"Margaret's brilliant thinking, holistic perspective, and ability to scale the Enneagram is something to really appreciate and learn from. The teaching method is in the spirit of true co-creating.

Margaret as a trainer is highly inspiring. The workshop had moments of flow and sense of enlightenment. It was an amazing journey with fantastic fellow travelers and I wish to thank them all. It was full of life – It was life."

"If you're interested in being an agent of change in the world, this training is definitely for you. It is way beyond change. It's transformational. This was an amazing week of opening, learning and integrating new tools for me.”

“I got a lot of value from attending Margaret's workshop. For one, her research and approach to understanding of the nine Enneagram domains took my engagement of the system to a whole new level. I appreciated how each day got deeper into the work and created a deep foundation for the next day.

"Margaret is gifted at guiding the group through the layers of the material, and allowed us to explore and co-create content at every level. The workshop was a delightful mix of facilitated discussion, experiential exercises and reflection. I truly connected with the other participants and highly recommend this immersive workshop to anyone who wants to gain a deeper understanding of the Enneagram model."

"Margaret brings a wonderful sense of fun, as well as awesome depth of knowledge, experience, and scholarship to this well-crafted workshop."

Book:

"Your framing of Enneagram instincts influenced me more broadly than just motivating me to examine and shift my behavior with respect to money.  It not only gave me personal insights, but also interpersonal insights with regard to incongruent primary instincts."

"Dr. Margaret Smith has written an engaging and ambitious book that goes far beyond the subject of money-management to look at how people with different Types and different Instinctual priorities relate to money, scarcity, prosperity, and abundance. Along the way, we learn much that is new not only about how the nine Types relate to money but also about the Enneagram itself. Smith has a penetrating grasp of the structural patterns contained within the Enneagram, and she offers several thought-provoking interpretations of how the various triadic groupings within the Enneagram converge and interact within the realm of money in our lives."

"I just wanted to let you know that I am currently reading your book and it is knocking my socks off. I have been familiar with the Enneagram - yet your work takes it to a whole other level of transformational power."

"I cannot express how perfect the timing is for me to be reading this nor how much the way you've pulled the subjects together feels like it was written just for me. Thank you!"

"Love your book on Enneagram and Money!"

This book is about financial abundance and by extension, about abundance in all areas of our lives: health, relationships, personal freedom. For each type, Dr. Smith discusses the gifts, unconscious beliefs, strategies, vicious cycles and how to break them. The ways we can become energetically blocked around money often reflect the ways we become constricted in other areas of our lives. Having a healthy relationship to money allows us to live more creative lives by moving from survival, to thriving, to manifesting our dreams. The individual chapters on each type are beautifully written and provided me with new information about each type, even after having read over a dozen enneagram books. At a time when many of us no longer trust Wall Street and the financial institutions we once relied upon, this book is very relevant. It is about taking responsibility for our own understanding and relationship to our financial life. It helps us see the personal patterns underneath our often conflicting beliefs about money. Like most things in life, we need an inner understanding before our outer life can reflect our gifts and goals. I highly recommend this book.

"The power of the layers of the work you have created here is almost hard to capture in words. For people who are ready for it, it is a bit like unlocking a gate into a new world of possibilities. I could go on... Thank you for following your "instincts" and writing this important book."

I am finding that this money book to be the definitive book on the 9 Domains work as I understand it. It is currently the foundation for my personal development.  Thank You.

"The clarity with witch the content is presented, and how in integrates the concepts of finance and enneagram theory is staggering."

"Ka-ching! This is a well written, insightful, conceptually sound discussion of our relationship with money. It's not a detailed guide to personal finance, but rather a gateway to understanding the psychological underpinnings of our attitudes toward money: earning it, spending it, investing it, and giving it away. Dr. Smith uses her knowledge of the Enneagram to lay out the nine money "domains", and shows how each of the nine enneatypes tend to behave with regard to their personal finances. Most helpful are her discussions of the blind spots each of us has, that can get us into financial trouble if we are not aware of them. Dr. Smith makes extensive use of quotes from individuals she has worked with in her financial planning practice, that serve to put a human face on the conceptual discussions."

"This book dives into areas that many of us are afraid to look into when it comes to money. I highly recommend this book and often give it as a gift to my clients and friends."

"I have read at least a dozen books on the enneagram this year, and your book has really captured something new in such a thought-provoking way."

"Your book and the insights I got out of it are amazing, I love it!"
